MIST hex getFromRoute
From DCS World Wiki - Hoggitworld.com
mist.hex.getFromRoute
| Added with: Mist 4.6 |
| Description |
| Returns a table indexed by hashed hex values that are contained within the route passed. If the optional entry of "fill" is passed then the table returned will contain all of the hexes inside of the shape.
This function has two main uses. 1. To define an outline of a polygon for use with mist.hex.aStar as something to path around like an island or coastline. 2. To define hex ownership over an area. Create a route for a group roughly shaped like a country from a map in DCS, call this function with fill passed, and voila you have a table of hexes that make up that country. |
