SA-9 Strela

The SA-9 Gaskin is a highly mobile, low altitude, short range SAM system. With a maximum range of 2.27nm and 11,500 feet, the A-10 can easily climb above its engagement range. It is best to simply get above its ceiling and either use a standoff weapon or a guided bomb to destroy it.

The SA-9 will not give a tracking symbol as it is IR Guided. A missile launch warning may be received at launch.
